Dear Amazing Girl, There are so many things that we feel prompted to do with all of our hearts and then they don’t turn out the way we imagined when our hearts were beating so fast to do them. We do things that we KNOW FOR SURE we are supposed to do. We do things that we KNOW are best for our lives…but sometimes those things don’t turn out in a way that seems best. Sometimes that just doesn’t make sense…..at least not for a long time. Heart messages are important. Soul messages are important. Gut messages are important. Often those messages come with assignments that are soooo hard to do, so scary to do…sometimes they even seem impossible or crazy. Sometimes those messages come with promptings to do things that will shake things up, cause temporary uncomfortableness or even promptings that if followed…will change everything. Sometimes those messages come with answers that though right, are very hard to take. So what do we do? Well….we do our best. We listen to our hearts. We trust our instincts. We keep acting in brave and beautiful and soulful ways. We keep listening. We do all things in kindness, truth and love. We do difficult things. We take risks. We keep doing the right thing. We look all of that stuff in the face and WE DO IT ANYWAY. Even when it’s gonna be hard…always do the right thing, dear girl. That is where the peace is.
