Today was busy busy busy from sunrise til way after sunset here at the ranch……we planted and watered and fertilized and planted and watered and fertilized more and more more beautiful flowers……we can only show you little sneak peeks because we can’t show the secret gardens til we have camp here in 2 weeks!!! SOOO wish you all could be here!!!!
We’ve planted soooo many pots of flowers that are all bundled up together until they get put in their special spots next week…it has been so fun to see the pots grow and blossom and get fuller and fuller and fuller…….
One of the other things that happened today was a little lesson on what can and can not be planted in Idaho….and where. I loooove hydrangeas…..about a month ago we planted 6 hydrangea bushes in front of the porch…….totally full sun…….I thought they would grow and grow and grow……we watered them every day faithfully….but it seems like they shrunk….and then the leaves started getting little spots on them….we took a leaf into a nursery and they told us that they needed to be in the SHADE!!!! Sooooo….we replanted them in pots and put them out in the forest under the big welcoming trees (someday soon we will show you photos of the welcoming trees) ….we put 2 potted hydranges on one side of the bridge and 4 on the other side…….
they will be in the shade almost all day…..anyway…by the time that was all done…it was almost 8pm…….and while I was doing it I asked our 11 year old, who has always wanted the chance to cook for the family, to make dinner…so he did!!! And it was really good!!!!
After dinner there was only one more package of flowers to plant…..and even though it was getting dark…we got it done!
Looking forward to a restful day of chilling and being in a state of total gratitude and sacred loveliness tomorrow….it has been a crazy busy week and only 2 weeks til camp!!!!!!!!! Hope you took a chance to look at the new store…it’s been hopping all weekend and we couldn’t be happier!! Can’t wait to start packing happy little packages for all of you on Monday!!! yahooo!!!

I love it that your 8 year old son made the supper meal all by himself. …and those hamburgers really looked good!!! Flowers..flowers…and more flowers….oh how I want to visit you there at the ranch. Beautiful!!!
