Today was a looooong work day…it is midnight and we just now came inside and cleaned up….it feels like it was yesterday that this new beautiful bridge got built….but it was actually this morning….we have the most amazing friends who show up to help with all of the projects we have going on around here….today Marq, Brock and Kyle built a lovely new bridge to cross the creek into the sacred little forest trail…….
And today the hay got bailed….
and today we did all sorts of really beautiful, magical stuff that I can’t show you yet…but will as soon as possible…because i really just CAN NOT WAIT…but our campers will be here in just a few days and we have SOOO many surprises in so
….every one of the rose bushes are blooming like crazy……this one is especially pretty today…
and finally…..Hilarie and Carrie grabbed my hand and pulled me into a room in the barn to show me this beautiful sight at sundown…….we opened the door into a dark room in the barn, and the sun was shining through the shutters…illuminating all of the glass lanterns and sparkling through the little star cut-outs…the twinkly lights just add to the magic…..everywhere we turn around here…we see stuff like this….it is just truly breathtaking…this whole amazing process….dreams rock.

I’m feeling all giddy for you. Knowing how I felt right before coming to BGC in May. I was so excited and nervous and full of expectation. I know all the campers will be so very blessed by all your hard work. The barn is glowing with love and glitter. Big hugs to all of you. I can’t wait to come back.
It is absolutely beautiful there. I hope to visit someday. You have inspired me to create my own beautiful haven. I am hoping when my husband retires, after serving 24 years in the Marine Corp, the path on our journey will allow us to create our piece of heaven. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
