Hi Kallie … Love is my new word going forward in my life. I have been really focusing on how I can show love to my sweetheart, to my children, to my friends and to people I encounter during the day. I am trying to find ways to say thank you, to offer a smile or a hug — or a small touch on the arm. I have been afraid to take those little steps in the past — afraid I would be seen as too much or kindof kooky. My committment is to bravely love — even if not everyone I share that with receives it. It’s totally the truth. Love matters most. Have an amazing day!
Today I am taking the time to finish a canvas for a friend that I started months ago. I love this sweet girl so much and I got stuck because my artistic skills just were not coming close what I want to express. So today I am going to remember that Love Matters Most, not my skill with a paintbrush or lack thereof. Today I will joyfully and lovingly paint with the skills that God has given me right now, right this very moment, it is enough and always has been.
Today, I am going to start week 3 of Brave Mothers and Daughters with my daughter. Because she is loved and important to me and to so many more people!
