Will just be chilling w/ my kids tonight, first time in many years with just the kids and myself, but that is ok’.
We always make valentines, but this year we are sending them to all the aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. We also have a mailbox and we put love notes in it for eachother. Valentines Day is also my friend’s birthday, so I will celabrate that also.
I will be spending it with the girl I love the most…my daughter.
After their dad left us my girls and I started a tradition of making a big fancy dinner together and inviting our girl friends over to enjoy it with us!!
I’m a single parent, loving my sweet ‘tween’ daughter, we will be spending this holiday and weekend like we always do, with special notes, crazy cards, of course dressing in reds and pinks for the 14th – then we will eat something comforting and yummy and desserts too while we watch some of our favorite ‘feel good’ movies.
Thankfully I have my precious boys this Valentine’s day. I usually pack a little love note in their lunch and then we have a nice dinner followed by chocolate covered strawberries, and a cuddle on the couch with something they want to watch! And of course if we have something red to wear…we wear it!!
I had chiari decompression surgery on the 28th of January. They removed part of my skull and parts of my top two vertebrae. They had to shave part of my head and my incision runs from the top of my back almost to the top of my head. A friend of mine started sending me pictures from your site with the most simple yet encouraging messages. For valentines day my two kids and my lovely boyfriend are taking me out to dinner. It will be my first time out in public other than the pharmacy and I am going to proudly display my incision and feel like the most beautiful woman in the room. Thank you so much for being the spark that ignited the fire inside me. I feel like a warrior now.
My husband is a Valentine’s Cupid Baby….so we will be celebrating my hubby’s birthday and valentine’s day! My kids and I will make him a heart cake and be sure to include all his birthday candles! Make him a wonderful dinner and spoil him rotten all night. Especially when the kids go to bed! Happy Valentine’s Day girls!
I bought myself a coconut cake.
We will eat T-bone Steak, baked potato and Strawberry shortcake for dessert…. Yummmm… cant wait to start the grill up!! Have a wonderful day everyone!~!
we will be taking valentine’s cards to the nursing home….
our favorite thing to do on this holiday of love
Made my hubby the “of all the love stories” sign and will be giving him that tonight at dinner!
We will spend it watching our daughter run her race well at her indoor meet tonight. We welcomed a red Betta fish into the family today for Valentine’s Day
I’m just hanging out with my husband, be both have been sick so we are not going out. We bought tacos for lunch and he gave me a new table for my studio last week…yea!
