When my husband came home last summer and said his company was moving to Houston, TX! That meant they were leaving and he was going to be without a job~ Had to put on my big girl pants and brave girl boots and know it was going to be alright. And thanks to God it is! The boots helped :)

Just pinned “forgive yourself” rock image to my Words Board. I had to put on my brave girl boots a LOT when trying to parent my daughter (4 years old). I have to put aside my fears of doing it all wrong, put on my “brave girl boots” and trust myself.

Hi ya all Brave Girls. I pinned “put on your brave girl boots” mainly because of the wings. I believe in angels. They are always with us. The wings remind me of that.

I pinned the mousepad to my Brave Girls Club board. I’m approaching my wedding anniversary and anniversary of my husband’s death and the flood of memories causes me to need to be brave every single day. So very grateful to my lovely Brave Girls for helping me face each day – and knowing I can always have another Day 1.

  5. Allison says

I chose Brave Girl Boots because I have struggled for over 13 yrs through marriage, including 4 yrs of separation and ultimately a divorce from a man I loved as though he walked on water but who I could never be pleasing enough for. I did all i could get my hands on to cope with the addiction and abuse and even tried to reconcile after the divorce in April. I have been consumed with not feeling “enough”, not being worthy or valued… but I am putting on my Brave Girl Boots and walking forward to a more beautiful destiny.

Pinned! I need to put my brave girl boots on everyday!
Currently, I’m dealing with a family member with an addiction & they have chosen to use me as their reason/excuse & have been repeatedly trying to blame & accuse me of not loving them. I had to step back & take a strong stance. Told them its because I love them, not because I don’t, that I had to set some boundaries…”I’m here for you, but I won’t let you hurt me.” Tough love is tough on us both.

Soul Restoration has helped me to put on my Brave Girl Boots. SInce taking the class the first time, I have been brave enough to go to the doctor to find out what was wrong with me – now I know and now I’m taking care of myself. Everyday. It’s been along time since I have honored myself. I was under the misconception that I had to give every last drop of myself to my family and my job. This is not the truth. My truth teller has helped me to put my BGB’s on and tromp on the lies that had become my life. Thank you BGC. You have changed my life – you have no idea.

  8. Scottie Viall says

I pinned it cause I am brave and becoming braver everyday. I have finished so many goals and I am gonna make all of them come to reality. I would love this mouse pad for my new office.

  9. Theresa says

I pinned it! :) I put on my brave girl boots every day as an elementary school Assistant Principal, but beginning July 1, I put on a new pair of brave girl boots to become the Assistant Principal of the largest middle school in my county. I am excited and scared all at the same time. I love middle school children and am happy to be back at this level. It takes a special person to work with middle schoolers as they just don’t seem to fit in. They are still finding their way.

I pinned the first one and I put my brave girl boots on when I had to take my Mom to the bank and help her get things sorted out for her. Believe me, it’s a tough job with my Mom. She’ll be 89 soon and still lives on her own in the house. But I notice she’s easily confused these days. I’m her only caregiver. My sister lives 2 hours away and is terminally ill.

  11. Julia Sands says

I pinned the “Put on your Brave Girl Boots” as it represents my day today. This day was all planned out to be for me; but my husband made decisions that turned my day upside down. I have no choice but to be brave and deal with things out if my control. Well I suppose I could let it defeat me but I’m a self proclaimed “brave girl” & defeat isn’t in my vocabary!

I pinned ‘Put on Your Brave Girl Boots’ onto my ‘Because I matter” board. I just put my Brave Girl Boots on on Friday. I had just closed up my little ‘Barn Sale’ and was standing in the kitchen at the sink when my beautiful four legged daughter Pumpkin Pie started barking. I have to tell you here that she has distinctive barks for different things. This one was telling me that someone was in the yard. I could see the driveway and most of the southern part of the property, but no people, cars or animals anywhere that I could see. I told her there was no one out there, but she kept barking. I said “Pumpkin, Momma is looking out the back door and there is no one out there baby”, but she kept barking. So then I realized that she was in our bedroom upstairs and she could also see the north side of the property which I could not. So I closed the main door to the house and started out the porch door. As I opened the porch door – there i found two very beautiful dogs just standing there. So for the past three days Pumpkin and I have had guests. The three dogs got to know each other, played together and walked to the river together in the morning. Today their were reunited with their owners at our local SPCA. What or how does this have anything to do with ‘Put on Your Brave Girl Boots’. Well I have been unemployed for three years tomorrow and I have been selling my personal property to help get through. I didn’t think twice about taking those two dogs in until yesterday, when I was running out of dog food and also figured out that I was not going to have enough gas to take them to be scanned for chips at our SPCA today. So yesterday when I opened up the Barn Sale I knew that I needed to “Put on My Brave Girl Boots”. It was threatening rain all day here and only about a handful of people had stopped all day, until… That one person that can change your world showed up and right on time. She and her daughter purchased enough that I could pay for both the gas and the dogfood. Please don’t ever give up, know that you are loved so very much, step out there boldly, have faith and when you need to ‘Put on Your Brave Girl Boots’!!!

I pinned a pic of the mousepad to my ‘Words’ PInterest borad. I love that saying.
One time I put on my brave girl boots was when I studied in France for a year during university. I was so excited for the incredible opportunity, but I was also so scared of being away from home for a year. There were many moments I missed my family and friends but putting on brave girl boots allowed me to experience so many amazing things!

I pinned “every little thing you do matters so much” to my “daughter” board. She is going thru a rough time and needs all the encouragement I can give.

I posted “Put Your Brave Girl Boots On” to my “Just For Me” Board on my Pinterest. I need to be brave each and every day. Sometimes, I just want to curl up in a ball – but I am working on getting stronger. Enough of that! I wanted to share this: Just the other day I/you helped a young friend who had her apartment robbed of everything she had. I posted “Put Your Brave Girl Boots On” for Casey and she remarked how she loved the words and the photo. I had posted it before and she remembered. I do not have my picture on my facebook wall but I have a saying for all my family and friends to see. “To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment”. The Brave Girls Club has saved me so many times and it now helps me to reach out to others as I post on facebook. My love to you all! <3

I pinned it!. My family is the “pull yourself up by your boot straps” kind of family so there are many times I have wanted to pull the covers over my head but didn’t. I put on my big girl boots and did it anyway.

I pinned -> brave girl boots to My “Duly Quoted” board! After loss after loss including my son over a 3 year period … I put on my brave girl boots, pulled myself together and have committed myself to LIVE a life full of gratitude & beauty. Though we can’t always control life’s little valleys? We can decide how we let them affect us and for how long <3
