We had the most wonderful Brave Girl Camp this month. I swear no matter how many times we do Brave Girl Camp, it never gets old. We have the very best Camp staff….women who show up with smile on their faces and love in their hearts… ready to serve the very brave and beloved souls who show up here…
Of course, this was the first camp with our newly painted and beautiful bus! We knew it would be fun to have this project done, but had no idea exactly how much fun it would be to use the bus now that it’s all painted and beautiful!
Every morning we wait and wait and wait for the bus to arrive and when it finally does we can’t wait to hug each and every person as they get off the bus. It ends up being a LOT of hugs and we love every single one!
Magic happens when people show up and are open and real with each other. That’s what happens in this room of the Art Barn…
The person on the very left side of this photo is Nancy….she’s the one behind every incredible thing we eat at Brave Girl Camp. She has the most peaceful way about her and puts more love than anything else in her food. She is an absolute joy to be around and we are over-the-moon thankful to have her on our team.
Beauty is one of the languages of love that everyone speaks. We work hard to speak that language gently and clearly….
This is where the rubber meets the road at Brave Girl Camp. It looks like these lovely women are just painting… what they are really doing is digging deep within themselves and doing some of the hardest work there is…soul work. This is where miracles happen…answers are found….and stagnation becomes movement once again. Such beautiful things happening….
Nothing speaks the language of beauty more fluently than nature herself. Flowers are a big deal for that reason….
Music is always a big deal, too. At this camp, we had a couple of musicians, so we had some afternoon jam sessions. So fun.
We had a second big change at this camp (the first being our beautified bus)…. our guests stayed at a different hotel this time….they stayed at the Riverside Hotel, which is where our Symposium will be this summer! From what we heard the hotel was AMAZING and they loved it!!!
