Posted my favorite daily truth from Brave Girls Club on my facebook page. Hope I did this correctly. But no matter if I win or loose your little club has brightened my days and put a spring in my step and inspries me each & every day, and well for that I am greatful.
I”d love to win just like everyone else that has entered, but it’s not about winning or loosing it’s about keep trying to be the person God created me to be each and every day even when I fail and your little quotes help remind me to keep on life’s positive path, keep my head up, keep whistlin along ,singing my songs cause I’m gonna get there sooner or later…learning to enjoy the view along the way!

Thanks for the chance to win,

    Michele

My favorite daily truth from Brave Girls Club is: “What would a leap of faith look like? What is it that is holding you back? Would it be so bad just to take that first step? Would it be so bad to stop and really honor yourself and at least listen to that longing?” because it is encouraging me to be the person I want to be, not somebody’s daughter, wife and mom.

It is amazing to me that the daily truth I receive in my email is just what I need as a reminder each day. THANK YOU!

My post was two days ago, so I copied and pasted it here as well.
Thanks for the opportunity to win, but really, thanks for reminding us of the truth.

I believe this with all my heart. God has a purpose and a plan for each one of us and he is working it out in us daily. I’m looking forward to all He has for me!

Dear Persistent Girl, There really is something you were born to do. Just you. There is a plan for your life, there is a mission you were created to accomplish, and there is a life that is meant JUST for you.You were not born randomly. You were not an accident, and you are not a number. Keep holding…

My favorite daily truth from the Brave Girls’ club ends like this “Your life is so important — the world is a better place because you are here. There are so many important things that will never be done unless YOU do them. YOU CAN DO IT!” I know a lot of us are embarking on new adventures for this coming school year. What we do makes a difference, even if we don’t see it.

I’m switching schools and positions next school year and I’m scared. Excited, but scared. This spoke to me and reminds me that what I do, wherever I do it, makes a difference. (And it was posted on my birthday which makes me think it’s even cooler!)

Because the TRUTH is you never know what kind of battle someone else has going on in their life, so being kind to EVERYONE is really important.
this rings true to me deep deep deep

YOU, yes YOU, can make a difference in someone’s life. All it takes is a smile, giving a flower to someone, or lending a helping hand. Send a card, or just simply say, “Thank you”. Be the one. Make a difference. (Paraphrased from “A little bird told me”). This is one of my fav truths from the Brave Girls Club because anyone can do it. Everyone should.
Thanks for the opportunity to WIN!!!
    Thanks for the inspiration, more!

Like so many ” a little birdie told me” is the first thing I read each morning too! I couldn’t pick out one favorite because I am able to pull something from each daily truth. Something that applies to a certain situation or something that I am feeling at the moment. My mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s a couple of years ago and I can’t begin to tell you how painful it is…I am the primary caregiver and honestly God and reading “a little birdie told me” has gotten me through! My dad was diagnosed with lung cancer (stage 2) six months ago and we pushed our way through that with a positive outcome. I said all of this to say…that sometimes its hard not to lose yourself in the difficult and stressful moments of life. Times when you been pushed down so far it’s hard to get back up, but through it all there are life lessons to learn and getting “a little birdie told me” reminds me of that daily. AND I forgot to mention I am a big craft person…mixed media, etc. which is how I found your site. I believe my facebook connection is:

Gosh, only one favorite??? That is impossible because every letter that comes is so very special and they are all my favorites. I like to think they are written just for me. In this crazy world we live, it is so heartwarming to feel so loved by words that speak to our souls. Thank you for these beautiful gifts. I have no favorite but a sample of just one gift that you give so many women everyday. Thank you from the bottom on my humble heart. http://thepaperdog.blogspot.com/2011/07/daily-truths.html

I posted my favorite Daily Truth on my FB wall/status – http://www.facebook.com/Hyacinths4/posts/2261555902750. This particular Daily Truth arrived in my inbox during a very, very tough time and was just perfect! I had just moved across state & lost all income when my unemployment benefits expired. My need to be ‘tough’, the pull to be in survival mode and to isolate myself was dragging me down. I was reminded that there are others who care; who want more for me – just as I want more for myself. The support, encouragement and positive energy that I’ve been gifted since then has made a huge, huge difference to me!

My favorite little birdie truth from Brave Girls Club is “Suddenly, the parts of your life that used to hurt so much will simply be short chapters in your rich life story. Where once you thought that devastating experiences were THE STORY of your life, you will see that they were actually only just the set-up and the build-up and the lead-in of the real story.”

Posted it on my fb page, but want to keep that page private if that’s okay. I just LOVE every truth I get every morning. They are all so inspiring and I DREAM about being able to pay for Soul Restoration! So hoping I win!

  11. Melissa Gordon says

The first thing I read every morning is your daily truth. It is the perfect start to my day. If it’s a message that really resonates with me, I leave it in my inbox for several days and read it over and over again. One that stayed in my inbox for weeks was about loving, not judging, others.
I posted it on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/note.php?created&&note_id=10150747871650145 and shared how it taught me that appreciating others’ decisions, personal styles, philosophies, etc. instead of judging them opened up more possibilities for me. It also taught me to look a little closer at what others are experiencing or enduring that may be influencing their decisions. When I look through non-judgmental eyes, I can see the courage, creativity, curiosity, etc. that went into these choices and decisions, not just the fact that the choice or decision isn’t one that I would have made.
    Thank you!

I don’t know how I found you guys, but I have only been on your site for maybe 4 days and each day your message is so uplifing. I would be honored to win a registration to this class. I woke up this morning trying to find out if I could afford it and here was this giveaway staring at me in the face. I truly believe it was my message directed to me from God and know that if its truly meant to be I will either win on August 1 or the money will become available from some other source. Thank you for offering it to all of us. Good luck to all of us and the 5 people who win. I believe deep in my heart it will change their lives.

My favorite daily truth is one of the most recent–July 21st. That’s where I am right now, feeling derailed. But I have daily truths to remind me to get back on track. Life gives us all kinds of twists and turns. It is what it is. It’s up to us to make the best we can out of what we have. Thank you!

“My favorite Brave Girls Club Daily Truth is “Dear Lovely Girl” because it reminds me to don’t give up; to push onward and upward to my goals in life; and that I will always be “becoming” the masterpiece God intended me to be. :)”

My favorite Brave Girls to date (and I save and print all my favorites in a binder) is the one on May 10th – about life and settling and how we can improve. LOVE this one – reached deep with in my heart to remind me that where I am now is just perfect and I may not have money – but I do have the energy and desire to beautify my surroundings without having to spend.
I also posted this http://formymadeline.wordpress.com/2011/06/25/584/ on my daughters blog. Beautiful.
    Thanks for the oportunity!

this ‘daily truth’ is a repeat for me – I originally shared it as a facebook note on New Year’s Eve 2010 ~ do it anyway = courage!!
Fear is the #1 thing that holds so many people back (including me)… R

so on that note, I had previously signed up for a few online art classes…
humm, have I actually made my art? nope,,,, time to do it anyway….

I pray I win!! I am truly inspired by these truths and by the women who share on here. I too would love to attend a camp! <3 thank you for the good you do

Because the TRUTH is you never know what kind of battle someone else has going on in their life, so being kind to EVERYONE is really important. A smile and a kind word might be the thing that makes someone’s day. The bluebird is my truthteller so the art just makes it that much more meaningful.
