Did you know that…..
When Melody was a little girl, she used to get bored in Kindergarten and walk home?!
Other fun things about little Melody – she knew she wanted to be an artist from a very young age. She never ever walked home on days when the class got to paint. She remembers really getting into it and getting lost in what she was painting, then when she was done, she’d look up and see what everyone else had painted. Her thought?
“They must not have had time for details….” :)

HA! I hid in the art room closet and made photographs for two years. I didn’t care one lick what happened outside that door–what the class was doing or not. Spent last Valentine’s Day in the darkroom and would not have been lured out by the promises of roses or chocolate…ok so I would have swiped some of the chocolate on my way back in after checking my prints.
I believe it and am so thankful that she is so real as she teaches us in the videos. While I am sitting there thinking “I could never do this”, I hear myself saying “Melody actually believes I can do this!” She is so real and truly enjoys what she is doing while she shows you. I have purchased so many collage books, talked to so many people and this is the first time where I really feel that I can do it. I have made three pages already, and my critical eye may say “needs some work”, at the same time I can say “Finally, I got something down on paper:” Thank you Melody!
Taryn,
Have fun with and in all you do
God Bless
BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!! YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!!! Just by reading Melody’s blog and getting the Brave Girls daily truths it has given me courage to step out and try so many things I may never have thought I could do let alone be willing to just try!
And just remember the more you practice or do something over time the better you become at it
