This little post is all about how to brave the Holiday get-togethers with a smile on your face….and never have to go to the ladies room to cry…or go for a drive to cool off…or go home feeling defeated…but to have a wonderful day all day and make sure others do too!!!! Relationships can be awkward and difficult at Holiday time when we are around people from our past, or from our personal life who we do not normally spend time with……..and we sometimes get rattled…..
BUT WATCH THESE VIDEOS….you will totally relate, for sure…and hopefully they will put a smile on your face…please pass them on!!! We had a blast making these little movies for all of you!!!!
WE LOVE YOU!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!
PART 1
PART 2

Loved these! Thanks for the tips. Maybe this year someone won’t end up in the ER.
Hi
I wish I could see the video but it doesn´t work in my Mac? Maybe later then. Anyway my best wishes to your Thanksgiving selebrations!
Much love!
Lili – You should be able to see the videos now. They are so fun! xoxo
LOL! LOL! LOL!
I can see how much fun you must have had making these…
The messages are so true and universal and helpful – didn’t realize you knew my friends and family!!! I’m definitely going to bookmark these to watch again over in the next month….
It’s so fun seeing you guys — MISS YOU — wishing we were back at BGC!!!!
Love to you all and hoping you enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Y’all need to come meet my Dad and my Mother-in-law for a REAL challenge!
Seriously though, I usually prepare witty comebacks or just let the conversation drop off. I am encouraged by these videos to actually try to affirm the other person and leave them feeling good about themselves. What a concept!
Thank you.
xoxo
Omg that was great. Thanks for the ways to prepare for the day.. I made it through and I hope all you other ladies had a great holiday.
These are so funny! Great way to get the message across with humor. Thanks!
So funny!!
Some really GREAT ideas for keeping the peace in challenging circumstances over the holidays.
(PS. The actor reminds me of ‘Cam’ in the TV show Modern Family.
)
hee hee hee…thanks for these! Made me giggle.
these were great! I didn’t even realize some of these were issues. usually i get tongue tied and don’t know what to say. after thanksgiving my cousin was telling me how at thanksgiving my sister’s husband was telling a long boring story. My sis and her husband weren’t there when she told me. I felt bad, but I didn’t say anything. any ideas on how to deal with that one?
or my favorite, my friend told her son not to touch my shoe (when he touched it by accident) because since I had a dog now I was probably walking over dog poo alot.
I would love some ideas. thank you.
These are wonderful!!! I’m going to watch these again before Christmas and share them on my blog! Thank you so much!!! And I’m pretty disappointed in myself because I saw alot of myself in the ‘guilt trip cousin’ its not my buisness if my cousins don’t want to come see my grandma or if they never come out here, all I should be concerned with is making them feel welcome when they do come and being there for my grandma when they dont!
I truly needed a good laugh today. Thank you Brave Girl Gang!!!!
xoxoxoxo
LOL these were so funny. Love you ladies and thanks!
I was at the chat about this.
Laughter is the best medicine,
I also believe, hurtful people are hurting inside too.
Thanks,
It is sooo uncanny sometimes how we think sooo much alike…this is the exact phrase I say to my little students when I’m teaching them an art lesson..as I lead them through the project at hand….I continue to say this exactly…We are Perfectly Imperfect…because it seems to help free their little fears when facing a blank canvas for the first time!!! Just love you girls…seems like we’ve been seperated at birth….haha!!!God uses all of you in so many ways… Thank you for all that you do!!! Blessings…Donna
these are fun – except for the violence (especially since you are stressing kindness). : (
