It’s time for our 2nd annual AWESOME THINGS CHALLENGE!
WOOOOHOOOOO!!! We LOVE this challenge!!!
Watch this short video to see how YOU and everyone you know can participate in this FUN challenge, and how YOU can be eligible to WIN FREE TUITION to our new Body Restoration online class (Jan 10 – Feb 20).
Two ways to participate:
(1) Just leave a comment below with your Awesome Thing…you’ll be eligible for our Body Restoration drawing!
How many Awesome Things can we come up with this year? Do you think we can reach 10,000??? Let’s TRY really hard, okay?!
We’ll choose a winner for every 1000 Awesome Things Comments…with no limits! Winners will be drawn from each block of 1000 comments, so be sure you leave new entries every time we cross the 1000 comments line. Be sure to introduce yourself and tell us where you’re from, okay? (Leave as many as you want!)
(2) To be in our Awesome Things VIDEO…
…just take a photo of you (or someone) holding a sign that says AWESOME next to your Awesome Thing. (Even better: include a sign in the photo saying who you are and where you are from). Send your photo to awesomethings@bravegirlsclub.com. Deadline is December 20, and the video will be out before CHRISTMAS! (See last year’s video here!) We hope to see your beautiful face in this video…along with your family and friends or pets or whoever you love. Make it fun and creative and AWESOME. I don’t have a fancy story, but would love to continue on my journey of being healthy! About 1 1/2 years ago I made the decision to take care of myself for a change! After raising 2 beautiful girls and focusing on everything else, time for a change. I have lost 70 pounds, by changing eating habits, joining a gym and being more active. I turned 55 last year and also became a Grandmother for the first time. I would love to continue on this journey, this would sure kick off my year!!! Thanks!
I love receiving my Brave girls club words of wisdom every day! It has totally helped me in so many ways with my life, happiness and finding Peace! I am now ready for this new year, to lose weight, stay in shape and be the best i can be at 61! I have my new craftinista room ready for all my craftiness! Two years ago this month my husband of 33 years decided the grass was greener on the other side of the fence. Needless to say I literally wanted to jump off a cliff. Somehow, with the wonderful help from my family and friends I survived. It was shortly after his leaving that I found Brave Girls. Wow! I so look forward to your notes each day and print so many of them off and apply them to my day. What a enormous help they have been. I would love to be chosen for your online Body Restoration class. I can’t even imagine how many Brave Girls you have helped to become even braver. THANK YOU!! Rose
Realizing that I have Rheumatoid Arthritis BUT it does NOT have me has been AWESOME….. as my hands begin to twist and turn, my husband/soul-mate/lover/best friend/dream come true/hero….has been tracking my journey with photographs…. my biggest fear has been that this disease would hinder my artistic ability…. and my husband’s DESIRE for me as a woman….due to the weight gain of the steroids, TNF inhibitor IV treatments, and my UGLY hands…. well…. finding this site (excuse, God leading me to this site during an 8 week disability leave from my first graders per doctor’s orders…due to compromised immune system due to meds and my RA markers being so incredibly high that I could not endure the pain and work)…..anywho…finding this site has led me on a journey… my hubby has loved what it has done for my spirit…. I started the a la carte soul book first….. and am now starting body restoration online with my Sister Gift who lives 5 hours away…she could hear the change in my spirit….the HOPE that is back in my voice is amazing…the JOY that has been rekindled as I have realized through this time of creating and soul searching is amazing. I am thankful to brave girls club and what is more awesomER than that is….. my dreams are being DREAMED again….and my husband’s words….”The dreamer is back…. I love that about you honey!” ……………….. I’m a happy girl. LET NOTHING ENSLAVE YOU…. I will not let this disease win…. my identity is not in my weight….. my artistic nature can not be squashed….

ok, navigating the site has become a bit challenging…. it won’t let me log in on what i thought i registered for a la carte and body restoration.. i have to log in through my facebook…so do i have like fifty different profiles???
